Weekly Rundown No. 38

Well it's been a HOT minute since I posted a weekly rundown!

So since the last time I posted one of these (read here) a lot has happened. Last week the Wolff Center for Entreprenuership here at UH hosted Wolffest which is basically a huge food festival. Some of my favorite food trucks and restuarants were here on campus. It was really fun and I ended up getting a few snaps from The Montrose Studios which I LOVE! As the semester comes to an end I've been studying and hanging out with my project groups more and more. Here's a few more things I've been up to/enjoyed in these past weeks:

A few days ago I interviewd with one of my favorite boss babes Ellyse from StateLine and Make (Her) Boutique and I'm super estatic to announce that I've accepted an internship! I'm more than happy to be working along Ellyse and other femal entrepreneuers!!!

I loved this post from Dani, how fun are all of here statement earring choices?!?!??

Speaking of earrings, how gorg are these!!?? Adding to my Spring/Summer wishlist!

Season 6 of New Girl was added to Netflix earlier this month and I cried on the last episode, and immediatly began watching the the final season on Fox. What am I gonna do without the loft gang??!

I relate to this tweet to much

Aspyn + Parker vlogs are my favorite!

Lately I've really been into Madewell and I'm loving all of the Spring/Summer arrivals. How cute is this!?

Well that's it for this week, I don't wanna make this too lenghty so I'll stop here!
Have a good weekend friends!

My Favorite Study Playlists

Hey guys! In today's post, I thought I would switch it up a bit and talk about music, most specifically study playlists. I absolute love Spotify and the variety of playlists available. My taste in music is pretty wide, I'm not much of a rap/hip-hop listener but other than that I love Indie rock/pop rock, soft mellow, country and almost everything in between. When I'm in a studying mood I definitely prefer soft chill music than anything else! Here are some of my favorite study playlists on Spotify!

All of these playlists are really great! With these playlists, you get in that "getting stuff done" mindset and it just works for me! I also really like listening to songs and artists that I don't know. If you know a song and burst out singing you can get distracted really easily, so I try to make an effort to listen to new music. With finals coming up, I hope you enjoy these playlists!

Spring Ruffles

Long time no post!! TBH I've been in a blogging rut lately. With two weeks of the semester left it gets pretty chaotic during this time and I hardly find time to sit down or to go out and take photos and instead of just putting up a random post I always wanna try my hardest in whatever I plan to post. With that being said, I think I'm out of my rut and I'm making time here and there for TLD!

With all of that being said, me and my sister went out and took some photos of my outfit! I wore this to church yesterday and I love how cute and Springy it is!! We've been having cool mornings here so adding a cute cardigan can defiently gave a warm element! I just love the ruffle sleeves!!!

Craft Haul

Hey guys! So some big blog news if you haven't heard from insta, is that I'm slowly going to start adding content about my art, hand-lettering, diy-fun creative stuff like that!! I've always been creative and I love drawing and painting but I also really love fashion and that's been apart of the blog since the beginning, so that won't be changing!! I just really want to share my other passion with you all!

So to introduce this first crafty/artsy post, here's a quick Michaels craft haul. My sister was gracious enough to take me to Michaels for my birthday. She gave me a budget of $50, we lucked out and went during a 20% off the whole purchase sale and got everything super cheap!! Out of my $50 budget I got everything I wanted for right under $30!

Here's what I picked out:

TRIM STUDIO MINI POM-POMS (can't find online)

Hope y'all enjoy these more crafty posts!

Chambray & Easter Eggs

Hi friends! I hope y'all had an egg-cellent(sorry I had to do it!!) Easter Weekend and if you don't celebrate this holiday, then a great Sunday!

My family has always kept Easter low key.  Here's a look at our day: 9:30 a.m mass, simple breakfast, visit the cemetery, come home and scatter eggs for the hunt,  around 2 the fambam comes over, and my dad barbecues yummy food and meat and then we hunt for eggs! That's pretty much it and I love our little Easter traditions! Here are a few snaps from yesterday!
